Premier Cement is a famous brand in Bangladesh. It started in 2001 under the Company Act 1994 to make high-quality cement. At first, it produces 0.6 million metric tons each year. But now, it has grown a lot. In 2011, they started a second unit. Then, in 2013, they added a third and fourth unit. Each of these units can produce 0.6 million tons every year. It can build an incredible 2.4 million metric tons annually. Four types of cement are available.

Portland Composite Cement

Portland Premier Cement

Portland Cement follows the British Standard BS EN 197-1. It is solid and long-lasting. This makes it perfect for sturdy structures like bridges and pavements. To make Portland Cement (PC), mix certain materials. They burn these materials and then grind them into clinker. It usually contains 95-100% Portland Clinker and 0-5% Gypsum.

Portland Pozzolana Cement

Portland Pozzolana Cement is a blended cement. It’s produced by inter-grinding Portland Cement Clinker, gypsum, and pozzolanic materials. PPC conforms to IS: 1489: Part-1:2015. The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certifies PCML under license no. CM/L-4010528, complying with IS 1489:2015.
